Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a food manufacturing site in Worcester. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance across fast-paced machinery, with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

This continental shift pattern (4 on 4 off) includes days and nights. The successful candidate will have apprentice-trained electrical or mechanical background and experience with PLC systems, automated machinery and PPM processes.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery.
• Understanding of PPM Systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance to high standards.
• Maximise machine efficiencies and reduce downtime.
• Work on ovens, sealing machinery, gearboxes, pumps and other manufacturing equipment.
• Be able to work on own initiative in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day electrical and mechanical engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical or a mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer but multi-skilled and have fast moving manufacturing experience. If you have worked PLC systems, lean manufacturing systems and PPM systems would be advantageous. Also, able and willing to work on ovens, sealing machinery, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
