Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a world-leading FMCG manufacturer in Weston-super-Mare. The role involves planned and unplanned maintenance, asset care, and ensuring the safe, reliable operation of site equipment, with SAP used to capture activities.

You will work a 3-shift pattern on site, with a salary of £53,757 per year (incl. shift premium) and benefits including 25 days holiday, pension, Westfield Health, life assurance, on-site gym, and subsidised canteen.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery.
• Understanding of PPM systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities to an agreed standard, ensuring safe working practices.
• Maintain site assets to a high standard, meeting site requirements and reliability.
• Use SAP to capture all maintenance activities.
• Provide functional support and expertise to achieve engineering KPIs.
• Ensure a robust and clearly communicated safe system of work, risk assessed.

• Week 1 - Mon- Fri 7am-3pm
• Weeks 2 Mon Friday 3-11pm
• Week 3 Mon-Thursday 11pm - 7am

The Role

• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities to an agree standard, ensuring safe working always.
• Ensure all site assets are maintained to a high standard, meet site requirements and are reliable.
• Use SAP to capture all maintenance activities (training will be provided)
• Attain the engineering standards across the site by providing functional support and expertise.
• To perform on relevant Engineering KPIs
• Ensure a robust and clearly communicated safe system of work is applied for all activities that you undertake properly risk assessed.
• Ensure parts are booked out correctly to help control stock levels in stores.
• Be able to work effectively as a team not only with engineering team but also with production.
• Be flexible with working hours (shift cover, overtime)
• Good communication skills
• Fault finding experience with good diagnostic skills.
