Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the maintenance team in Normanton. The role covers day-to-day electrical and mechanical maintenance across high-speed packaging and printing processes, with a focus on planned preventative maintenance and reliability improvements.

You will have completed a full electrical apprenticeship, have experience with PLCs and automated machinery, and be able to work on your own initiative within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
• Experience with (PPM) planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Experience of packaging process machinery in a high-speed automated environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities to high standards.
• Maximise machine efficiencies across presses, binding machinery and pumps.
• Work on own initiative with multi-skilled capability and TPM/PPM focus.

The Company

Based within one of the UK's leading manufacturing groups my client is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to add to their existing team in Normanton. The company have been established for over 150 years and specialise in the printing of magazines and catalogues. The company are a secure organisation and looking to further increase the engineering capacity due to sustained growth in the market.

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within (PPM) planned and preventative maintenance schedules, and ideally have experience of packaging process machinery within a highspeed automated environment. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with ideally electrical bias (but have some multi-skilled knowledge) and have PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. If you have worked on PLC systems and invertors it would be advantageous. You will be able and willing to work on presses, binding machinery, gearboxes, pumps, and other process machinery. There is a huge scope and variety on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
