Hunter Selection is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing company in Diss. The role involves working on shifts, overseeing PPMs, and minimizing downtime while driving improvements.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in manufacturing engineering, a Level 2+ engineering qualification, and a proactive, independent mindset. FMCG exposure is highly desirable, with clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Level 2 or higher qualification in an engineering discipline.
• Strong independence.
• Proactive, positive approach with a focus on improvement.
• FMCG experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team or alone on shift.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
• Respond to machinery breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement and team development.
• Report directly to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager.
