Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Hereford

Salary: Up to £55,000

Shift: Panama Days & Nights – 12-Hour Shifts

Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy manufacturing environment in Hereford.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of production and manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities will include responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

This position would suit a genuinely multi-skilled engineer, with candidates possessing strong electrical fault-finding skills particularly well suited to the requirements of the role.

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or factory environment.
• Hands-on experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance within a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capabilities.

Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Recognised engineering qualification in an Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineering discipline.
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
• Ability to diagnose faults efficiently and work effectively within a fast-paced engineering team.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK.
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally with the ability to fault-find using inputs and outputs.
• Strong electrical fault-finding experience.
