Job summary

Hunter Selection is representing a leading Wisbech manufacturer seeking a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer. You will cover planned and reactive maintenance, supporting production across a busy operation.

This role suits a hands-on engineer with 2+ years in FMCG settings, Level 3 or higher engineering qualification, and a collaborative, proactive attitude. Excellent progression paths and external training are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in food or FMCG manufacturing maintenance.
• Level 3 engineering qualification or higher.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance.
• Engage in project work to improve equipment reliability.
• Work with a maintenance team under the Maintenance Manager to minimize downtime.

We're working with a well-established manufacturing company in Wisbech that's expanding its Maintenance Department. They're looking for a skilled Shift Engineer to join their growing team and support their continued success.

About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer, you'll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), project work, and reactive maintenance. You'll work within a team of engineers, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, and play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. What We're Looking For in a Shift Engineer:
