Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join its East Anglia manufacturing site. You will support the engineering team, manage external contractors, and drive planned maintenance while ensuring HSE compliance.

The role operates on a Panama Days shift pattern in East Anglia, with a salary of £50,000-£54,000 plus enhanced holidays, pension, benefits and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in food, beverage, or high-volume FMCG manufacturing.
PLC systems experience and electrical fault-finding.
17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day engineering schedules, external contractor management, and site safety standards.
Execute hands-on planned and preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and electrical/PLC fault-finding.

Are you a multiskilled maintenance engineer with strong autonomous experience? Have you worked within a fast-paced FMCG or high-care manufacturing environment? Do you want a key role within an industry-leading, multi-site group known for exceptional stability, continued site investment, and strong staff retention?

Due to ongoing operational growth, my client is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the engineering department at their facility in East Anglia. The successful applicant will support the wider site engineering team, assisting with planned maintenance execution, managing external service contractors, and ensuring rigorous compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Operating fully hands-on, you will drive planned & preventative maintenance, carry out electrical/PLC fault-finding, optimize processing line efficiency, and support site KPIs.

The Role:

The Candidate:

NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
Proven background within food, beverage, or high-volume FMCG manufacturing.
Competent with PLC systems, electrical fault-finding, and holding a 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification.
Strong autonomous engineering capability with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
Commutable within the East Anglia region.
