Qualifications

  • Proven experience with LV and HV electrical systems, including jointing and fitting.
  • Competent person authorisations for working on sites and substations.
  • Full UK driving licence (Category B + E essential).

Responsibilities

  • Install, joint, and terminate LV and HV cables to the highest standards.
  • Maintain and inspect substations, switchgear, and transformers.
  • Carry out fault‑finding and minor repairs, providing accurate reports.

About The Role

Are you a skilled electrical craftsperson looking for a role where your expertise truly matters? Join our team and play a vital part in building, installing, and maintaining high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical networks across public and private industrial sites. As a Multi‑Skilled Craftsperson, you’ll work hands‑on with electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery for our customers.

What You'll Do
  • Install, joint, and terminate LV and HV cables to the highest standards.
  • Maintain and inspect substations, switchgear, and transformers.
  • Carry out fault‑finding and minor repairs, providing accurate reports and photographic evidence.
  • Follow strict Health & Safety processes, including risk assessments and site inductions.
  • Liaise with customers to minimise disruption and ensure smooth project delivery.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience with LV and HV electrical systems, including jointing and fitting.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification, plus a recognised Craft Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3.
  • Competent person authorisations for working on sites and substations.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
  • Full UK driving licence (Category B + E essential).
  • Additional certifications such as PASMA, IPAF, CITB, ECS, Confined Space, and NRSWA accreditation are highly desirable.
