Job summary

Brook Street in Salford is seeking a Supported Living Manager to lead across multiple sites for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will coach teams, ensure person-centred support and maintain regulatory compliance.

You will manage day-to-day operations for about 18 services, oversee 5 Team Managers, drive quality improvements, and build strong relationships with families, advocates, and commissioners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing supported living services for adults with learning disability and complex needs.
• Strong leadership with coaching approach to supervision and staff development.
• Solid understanding of person-centred planning and outcomes-based support.
• Confidence applying UK safeguarding practices.
• Experience managing compliance, audits and quality assurance in a care environment.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and professionals.
• Accurate, timely care records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of ~18 supported living services in line with care plans and regulatory requirements.
• Leading and developing a multi-site team; oversight of 5 Team Managers.
• Ensuring person-centred support to promote independence, choice and dignity.
• Recruitment, onboarding and training to maintain competency and compliance.
• Monitor service quality via audits, spot checks and reviews and take corrective action.
• Maintain documentation and incident reporting.
• Collaborate with families, advocates, commissioners and external professionals.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and respond to concerns and incidents.
• Support positive risk management balancing safety with independence.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to service development plans.
