The role emphasizes safeguarding, communication with families and professionals, and implementing person-centered plans within a compliant, governance-focused framework. A Monday–Friday pattern with on-call responsibilities four days per month is expected.

Formación

• Leadership experience in health and social care for adults with learning disabilities.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and ability to apply safeguarding procedures.
• Clear, empathetic communication with individuals, families and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Coaching, mentoring and motivating teams to high performance.
• Sound understanding of person-centred planning and outcomes-focused support.
• Calm and confident approach to operational challenges while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage multiple services for high-quality support aligned to care plans and standards for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Provide day-to-day operational leadership—allocating resources, monitoring performance and supporting staff to meet objectives.
• Oversee safeguarding practice and escalate concerns in line with policy and procedure.
• Support development and review of individual support plans reflecting personal needs and goals.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory expectations and internal governance processes.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals, families and stakeholders to deliver coordinated support.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation meets required standards.
