Sodexo is seeking a Residency Living Manager to lead student living across Newcastle and Gateshead, driving engaging communities and excellent wellbeing initiatives. You will oversee programmes, partnerships and teams to deliver a superior residential experience from arrival to graduation.

The role demands strong stakeholder relationships, commercial awareness and a passion for first‑class customer experiences in a vibrant university accommodation portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in student accommodation or PBSA (beneficial).
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and budgeting skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with event and community engagement experience.
• Comfortable using Office software and digital communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead residency living programmes across multiple sites.
• Develop engagement events, wellbeing initiatives and community activities.
• Manage a team including advisory and operational staff.
• Build relationships with universities, student services and community partners.
• Drive satisfaction through innovative communication, engagement and support strategies.
• Oversee on-site cafe, retail and social space operations and budgets.
• Monitor costs and contribute to financial targets.
• Use feedback and insights to improve the student living experience.
