Job summary

Affinity Care is seeking a nonclinical management professional to support eight GP sites, balancing staff management with quality assurance to improve patient care. You'll report to the Operations Manager and oversee around 40 registered nurses, nursing associates and healthcare assistants, turning audit findings into practical service improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams across more than one site.
• Experience coordinating an audit or assurance programme, including recording findings and reporting outcomes.
• Understanding of CQC's five key questions and the evidence needed to demonstrate quality in general practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site assessments against CQC requirements with action plans.
• Run audits on infection prevention, vaccine storage, cleanliness, clinical processes and emergency equipment.
• Track audit findings through to completion and verify improvements.
• Review incidents and patient feedback, turning learning into action.
• Maintain quality risk records, policies and procedures with clinical input.
• Produce clear reports for the Quality and Safety Group.
• Manage induction, probation, objectives, appraisals and staff development.
• Coordinate nursing capacity, rotas and cover across eight sites.
• Oversee registration, revalidation and mandatory training for staff.
