Job summary

Unity Healthcare is seeking an exceptional practice manager to join a multi-site organisation transforming primary care. Working with the senior leadership team and Suffolk GP Federation, you will lead operations, drive innovation and improve patient and staff experience across Unity sites in Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week), based across all Unity sites, with responsibility for performance, transformation and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading operations in general practice or healthcare settings.
• Strong people-management and leadership skills across teams, sites or disciplines.
• Track record of delivering change or service improvement.
• Confidence using performance data to identify issues and improve delivery.
• Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• Understanding of workforce, financial, quality and regulatory requirements in general practice.
• Commitment to learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead non-clinical operations across multi-site practice.
• Support delivery of safe, effective, responsive patient services within budget.
• Develop and lead teams, creating a positive, accountable, high-performing culture.
• Work with clinical and operational leaders to improve quality and patient experience.
• Embed transformation and service-improvement initiatives across Unity.
• Build strong relationships with patients, the PPG, the PCN, the federation and wider system partners.
