Job summary

Sodexo, Cambridge-based, is recruiting a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day facilities services across multiple corporate sites. This office-based role requires hands-on leadership to ensure safety, compliance and efficient operations.

You will manage budgets, coordinate contractors and liaise with clients to uphold service standards. The position offers development opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Facilities Management or a similar operational leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and service contracts.
• Sound financial and budget management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of facilities services across multiple corporate sites.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies and statutory requirements.
• Oversee contractor performance, ensuring services are delivered to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Build strong relationships with clients, landlords and suppliers.
• Manage operational budgets, forecasts and costs, identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate compliance records, permits and documentation.
• Act as the key escalation point for operational issues across the portfolio.
