Job summary

Weston College is seeking a part-time Facilities Technician to support campus operations in Weston-super-Mare. The role covers shifts between 7:30am and 9:30pm, with occasional 10:00pm finishes, and 18.5 hours per week. A shift allowance of £500 per annum is provided.

The job involves physical work, some outdoor duties, and travel between campuses. Interviews will be held on-site at a Weston-super-Mare campus.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Full driving licence is required as you will be required to travel between campuses.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Be a focal point and main contact for student support.
• Support safety and security of College premises, vehicles and contents.
• Ensure premises, lighting and heating systems are functioning.
• Undertake minor repairs and decorations as requested.
• Report Health and Safety hazards or maintenance needs to the Line Manager.
