Job summary

University of Worcester seeks a maintenance operative to deliver reactive and planned maintenance for all university facilities. You will provide excellent customer service from a temporary repair to a project, updating job statuses in the system and contributing to team meetings.

The role covers multiple campuses, with a varied workload and the need to work under pressure. 37 hours per week, with 14 weekend days rota and generous leave; training and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering reactive and planned maintenance services.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer-focused maintenance service from reactive repairs to project works.
• Update job statuses in the maintenance software and document progress.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss estate issues and best practices.
• Support across University campuses with a diverse workload.
