Job summary

Westonbirt School in Tetbury is seeking a full-time Caretaker to support Operations, Maintenance and Grounds teams. The role includes general porterage, basic maintenance tasks and supervising contractors to ensure the campus stays safe, functional and well presented.

On-site accommodation is provided. The department operates 7am–10pm, 7 days a week, with weekend work as required. A driving licence is desirable due to the remote location.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations, Maintenance and Grounds teams to keep the campus safe, functional and well presented.
• Undertake general porterage duties, including moving furniture and equipment.
• Assist with basic handy work and DIY tasks.
• Assist with supervision of visiting contractors and cyclic testing.
• Act as a duty key holder for issues on site out of hours and respond to emergencies.
• Support the site during fixtures and events on weekends.
