Job summary

Wycliffe College in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join the busy maintenance team. Reporting to the Estates Bursar, you will perform building and facilities repairs, painting, inspections, and other general tasks across the campus.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and you will work on a rota covering weekday evenings and weekends on a roughly three-week cycle. The role is permanent, full-time, with hours 8:00–16:30 Monday to Friday and a 30-minute lunch

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Good understanding of workplace health & safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance across the school campus, including building and facilities repairs.
• Paintwork, inspections and other routine maintenance tasks as required.
• Prepare facilities for events and activities; support the wider maintenance team.
