About the role

The University of Bath’s School of Management is seeking a proficient MSc Programme Officer to join the MSc Team in a fast paced, varied role.

Ranked among the top UK business schools, with a renowned reputation for business education and international research, the School is looking for someone who can contribute to the continued success of its MSc programmes. You will be part of the School’s MSc Office team, taking responsibility for administrative support across the MSc suite of programmes.

The duties of this busy and varied role will include administrative support to enhance the student learning experience, record maintenance, admissions processing, and support for recruitment and conversion activities. Working closely with the MSc Programmes Manager, you will also take responsibility for managing specific projects and deputise for the Manager in their absence.

About you

The post holder will be a dedicated and hardworking individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, able to work both independently and as part of a team. They will have significant administrative experience, ideally gained in a higher education setting, and be confident using standard IT systems and databases.

They will need excellent organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to multi‑task, prioritise, and manage a high‑volume workload with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves working with students, faculty, and stakeholders across the University and beyond.

Experience of working in a multicultural environment with cultural sensitivity and awareness would be an advantage. Experience in student recruitment or conversion activities would also be beneficial. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

The MSc team works collaboratively to develop consistent systems and processes based on best practice, ensuring compliance with University regulations and procedures.
