This role is categorized as hybrid, requiring reporting to Concord, NC three times per week at minimum.
To strengthen our motorsports program, we seek a Team Simulation Support Engineer to enhance our simulation toolchain across GM Motorsports-supported series. The primary goal is to provide engineering support for improved on-track performance. Responsibilities include collaborating with race team members and GM support engineers to analyze offline and driver-in-loop (DiL) simulations, developing and educating on simulation tools, providing feedback to GM simulation development, refining vehicle modeling inputs, and establishing baseline simulation settings for on-track events. All projects should meet high standards, deadlines, and budget constraints. Proficiency in simulation, proactive engagement, and passion for accurate models are essential.
