Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
To strengthen our motorsports program, we are seeking a Team Simulation Support Engineer to enhance the utilization of our simulation toolchain across GM Motorsports-supported series. The primary goal is to provide engineering support that improves on-track performance. You will collaborate with race team members and GM support engineers to conduct analysis using offline and driver-in-loop (DiL) simulations, develop and educate on simulation tools, facilitate feedback to GM, refine vehicle modeling inputs, and establish baseline simulation settings for on-track events. All projects should be completed to high standards, on time, and within budget. Proficiency in simulation, proactive engagement, and passion for accurate models are essential.
