Job summary

Jago Consultants are recruiting for an experienced Motorbike Service Advisor at a franchised dealership in Reading. The role focuses on delivering courteous, professional customer interactions and advising on service requirements and costs.

You will manage job cards, invoices and records, while upselling appropriate products and communicating timescales and collection arrangements. A strong customer-service approach is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Service Advisor with motorbike experience.
• Full driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers are aware of service and repair work in a professional manner.
• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken.
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs.
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements.
• Produce job cards on in-house computer system.
• Update customer and bike records.
• Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy.
• Prepare and complete invoices.

Job description

We are currently working with a franchised Motorbike dealership who are looking to recruit an experienced Motorbike Service Advisor to join their team.

This is a new and exciting position, and as a Motorbike Service Advisor you will ensure the highest standard of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and members of the public.

Duties

• Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements
• Produce job cards on in-house computer system
• Update customer and bike records
• Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
• Preparation and completion of invoices

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience working as a Service Advisor, and MUST have previous motorbike experience
• Full driving licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service skills

Service Advisor salary is

Basic £22,000 – £25,000 Depending on Experience

Plus Bonus and Commission plan
