Job summary

Maplecroft is seeking a Motor Claims Handler in Norwich to manage vehicle claims from accidents. You will focus on reducing hire periods and ensuring customers are back in their pre-accident position as quickly as possible.

This role requires effective communication with engineers, Brokers, and garages to investigate liability and manage claims efficiently. You'll work under tight deadlines to minimize costs for our customers.

• Liaise with engineers, Brokers, Policy Holders, and garages.
• Monitor deadlines to ensure timely resolution of claims.

Job description

As a Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for proactively managing the claim in terms of the damage sustained to the claimant’s vehicle from the accident. Focusing on reducing any hire periods by monitoring and working to tight deadlines to ensure the claimant is put back into their pre-accident position as quickly and efficiently as possible, whilst ensuring our customer does not incur any unnecessary further costs.

You will also need to liaise with engineers, Brokers, Policy Holders, third party companies and/or garages over the phone and occasionally via email/ letter to review the accident circumstances and investigate who is liable for the incident.
