Job summary

Maplecroft in the United Kingdom is seeking a Motor Claims Handler to proactively manage claims arising from road traffic accidents. You will focus on reducing hire periods and restoring claimants to their pre-accident position while controlling costs.

You will liaise with engineers, brokers, policyholders and third parties by phone and email. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the claim to reduce hire periods and restore the claimant to pre-accident position while controlling costs.
• Liaise with engineers, brokers, policy holders, third party companies and/or garages to review accident circumstances and investigate liability.
• Communicate by phone and occasionally via email/letter to gather information and review claims.
