Job summary

The Solution Automotive Limited is hiring an experienced MOT Tester to join its independent garage in Preston. You will conduct MOT tests to DVSA standards and can perform servicing, maintenance and repairs as needed. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime available.

We offer a stable working environment, competitive salary (£37,500 basic) and opportunities for training and development. Weekend work is optional.

MOT Tester - Preston

Independant Garage

Salary: £37,500 Basic + Overtime

Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday-Friday

Location: Preston

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester to join a well-established independent garage.

The Role

As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standards, ensuring all vehicles are inspected accurately and safely. You will also have the opportunity to carry out general servicing, maintenance and repairs where required.

Hours & Salary

£37,500 basic salary

40 hours per week

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

30-minute lunch break

Overtime paid at £18.03 per hour

Occasional Saturday morning, usually 1 in 4, which is optional

28 days' holiday including Bank Holidays

About You

We are looking for a qualified and experienced MOT Tester who takes pride in their work and is confident working within an independent garage environment.
