Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester in Frome, Somerset. You will conduct MOT tests and inspections, ensuring safety and compliance within a well-established workshop.

The role offers a starting salary up to £40,000 dependent on experience, with overtime paid at enhanced rates and a pension scheme. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, plus 1 in 2 Saturdays paid as overtime, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active Class 4/7 MOT testing licence required.
• UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Class 5 MOT licence highly beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests in compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Perform taxi inspections, VSI checks, and minibus inspections.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections and identify potential issues.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable family-run automotive service centre based in Frome, Somerset, operating for over 25 years. They are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join their friendly team. The MOT Tester will play a key role in maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and regulatory compliance within the workshop.

Benefits:

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an MOT Tester is preferred
