Job summary

Protyre Autocare is seeking an MOT Technician to join our team. You will carry out MOT testing and essential servicing, with a focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction. Full UK driving licence and valid MOT licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in MOT testing and automotive servicing is essential.
• Ability to perform fast-fit tyre work and mechanical repairs to a range of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA requirements.
• Perform general servicing and repairs including brakes, exhausts and other mechanical components.
• Carry out fast-fit tyre fitting and operate alignment machinery.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain high standard of personal presentation and uniform compliance.
• Complete any reasonable tasks as directed by management.

Essential:

Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

Valid MOT Licence

About the role:

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard

Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements

General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.

Fast Fit Tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments

Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations

Ensure a high standard of personal presentation including always wearing correct company uniform.

Conduct any reasonable request / tasks as deemed necessary by the management team.

About you:

A valid MOT Licence

You will have experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, general servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles

Full UK Driving Licence
