Job summary

Protyre Autocare is seeking a customer-focused MOT Technician to join our team. You will carry out MOT testing and general servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, with a focus on safety and quality.

A valid MOT licence and a full UK driving licence are essential. We offer training and development opportunities, with bonus schemes and staff discounts as part of The Micheldever Group.

Qualifications

• MOT testing on various vehicles.
• Experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs.
• Valid mandatory MOT Licence and UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work on vehicles is performed safely and to a high standard.
• Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA requirements.
• Perform servicing and repairs including brakes, exhausts and other mechanical systems.
• Conduct fast-fit tyre fitting and use alignment equipment as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow management requests and support team objectives.

Essential:

Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

About the role:

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard

Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements

General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.

Fast Fit Tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments

Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations

Ensure a high standard of personal presentation including always wearing correct company uniform.

Conduct any reasonable request / tasks as deemed necessary by the management team.

About you:

A valid MOT Licence

You will have experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, general servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles

Full UK Driving Licence
