Job summary

Protyre Autocare is seeking a customer-focused MOT Tester/Technician to join our team. You will carry out MOTs and mechanical repairs, ensuring work is safe and to DVSA standards while providing reliable service.

We offer training and development via IMI courses, staff discounts, pension, life insurance, eye care vouchers and other benefits. A regular bonus is available for achieving targets and high performance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MOT Licence and full UK driving licence.
• Experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs including tyres, brakes and suspension.
• Knowledge of DVSA testing requirements and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA requirements.
• Perform general servicing and repairs including brakes and exhausts.
• Fast Fit Tyre fitting and use of alignment equipment and reading adjustments.
• Work safely and comply with health & safety regulations.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with company uniform policy.

About the role:

• Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard
• Carry out MOT testingin accordance withDVSA testing requirements
• General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.
• Fast Fit Tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments
• Working in a safe manner and alwayscomply withhealth & safety regulations
• Ensure a high standard of personal presentation including always wearing correct company uniform.
• Conduct any reasonable request / tasks asdeemednecessary by the management team.

About you:

• A valid MOT Licence
• You will have experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, generalservicingand repairs to a wide range of vehicles
• Full UK Driving Licence
