Job summary

Protyre Autocare is seeking a customer-focused MOT Technician to join our team. You will carry out MOT testing and mechanical repairs as required within a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities.

You will perform MOT testing in DVSA alignment, service vehicles, fit tyres, and work with alignment machines. A valid MOT licence and full UK driving licence are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply)
• Valid MOT Licence
• Experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs including tyres, brakes and exhausts

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA requirements
• General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts and other mechanical products
• Fast Fit Tyre fitting with alignment machine usage and readouts
• Work safely and comply with health & safety regulations
• Maintain professional appearance and wear company uniform
• Carry out reasonable tasks as deemed by management

About the role:

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard

Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements

General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.

Fast Fit Tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments

Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations

Ensure a high standard of personal presentation including always wearing correct company uniform.

Conduct any reasonable request / tasks as deemed necessary by the management team.

About you:

A valid MOT Licence

You will have experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, general servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles

Full UK Driving Licence
