Job summary

Protyre Autocare in the UK is seeking a customer-focused MOT Technician to join our team. You will carry out MOTs and provide general servicing and repairs, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

A Full UK Driving Licence and valid MOT licence are essential, and the role offers funded IMI courses, career development, staff discounts on tyres, MOTs and servicing, life insurance, pension and a range of wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Licence.
• Experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs including tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements.
• General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.
• Fast Fit Tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments.
• Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations.
• Ensure a high standard of personal presentation including always wearing correct company uniform.
• Conduct any reasonable request / tasks as deemed necessary by the management team.

Protyre Autocare is looking for a customer focused MOT Technician to join our team. We are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities. As an MOT Tester / Technician you will carry out MOTs and mechanical repairs as required.

Essential:

Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)
