Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an MOT Technician for a Mold-based role with our client, a fast-growing automotive retailer. You will perform MOTs, light servicing and collaborate with the workshop team to meet targets.

You must hold a valid MOT licence and have experience as a Vehicle Technician. The employer offers training to gain Level 3 qualifications and comprehensive development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid MOT licence is required.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician is preferred.
• No formal technician qualification needed; training offered.

Responsabilités

• Complete MOTs on customer vehicles.
• Perform light and full-service work.
• Assist with fast-fit duties when required.
• Collaborate with workshop colleagues to meet targets.
• Coordinate with Service/Parts and other departments to ensure clear communication.
• Follow DVSA processes correctly.

Our client who is one of the UK's fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a MOT Technician based at their retail centre in Mold.

As anMOTTechnicianwould be responsible for completing MOTs on customers cars, as well as other light repair work. To be applicable for this role you must have a valid MOT licence, as well as experience working as a Vehicle Technician.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location:Mold

Salary:£33,000 - £37,000 basic, dependent on experience

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 - 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

MOT Technician Responsibilities

• Completing MOTs on customer vehicles
• Light and full-service work
• Fast fit duties as and (when required)
• Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
• Working with other centre departments (Service, Parts, etc) and ensuring that they are well informed
• Ensure the correct DVSA process is followed

To be a MOT Technician you will need

• Valid UK driving licence - Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Experience as an MOT Tester
• A valid MOT licence - Essential
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
