Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an MOT Technician for a busy fast-fit centre in Mold. The role involves completing MOTs, light and full-service work, and occasional fast-fit tasks within a collaborative workshop environment.

You must hold a valid MOT licence and have experience as a Vehicle Technician. Training to achieve Level 3 IMI/Hybrid qualifications will be provided, with a strong focus on career development and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT licence and experience as a Vehicle Technician are required.
• No formal qualification as a technician is needed; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete MOTs on customer vehicles.
• Carry out light and full-service work as needed.
• Perform fast-fit duties when required.
• Collaborate with workshop teams to hit targets.
• Coordinate with service, parts, and other departments to stay informed.
• Ensure DVSA processes are followed correctly.

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a MOT Technician based at their retail centre in Mold.

As an MOT Technician would be responsible for completing MOTs on customers cars, as well as other light repair work. To be applicable for this role you must have a valid MOT licence, as well as experience working as a Vehicle Technician.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Mold

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

To be a MOT Technician you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Experience as an MOT Tester
• A valid MOT licence – Essential
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
