Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd client in Middlewich seeks an MOT Technician to inspect customer vehicles and perform light repairs at a busy retail centre. Valid MOT licence and MOT tester experience are essential, with company support to gain Level 3 IMI and Hybrid qualifications.

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600; shift: 08:30–17:30, Mon–Fri, plus Saturday rota. Full training, career progression and staff benefits are offered in a growing UK network.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician (no formal qualifications required).
• Experience as an MOT Tester.
• A valid MOT licence – Essential.
• Passion for the automotive industry and desire to develop.

Responsibilities

• Completing MOTs on customer vehicles.
• Light and full-service work.
• MOT duties as required.
• Collaborate with workshop, service and parts teams.
• Ensure DVSA processes are followed.

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a MOT Technician based at their retail centre in Middlewich.

As an MOT Technician would be responsible for completing MOTs on customers cars, as well as other light repair work. To be applicable for this role you must have a valid MOT licence, as well as experience working as a Vehicle Technician.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.
