Job summary

Octane Recruitment’s client is recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join their fast-fit automotive team in Middlewich. You will review work on customer vehicles, carry out a wide range of fast-fit mechanical tasks and light/full-service work, with training provided to gain Level 3 qualifications.

Typical hours are 08:30–17:30, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota from 08:30–16:00 and a day off in the week. An uncapped bonus scheme and extensive training support are available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Passion for the automotive industry and desire to develop
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of Hybrid cars

Responsibilities

• Light and full-service work
• Fast fit duties such as replacing and repairing brakes, exhausts, car batteries, suspension parts
• Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments
• Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes
• Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
• Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians

Job description

Our client who is one of the UK's fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician based at their retail centre in Middlewich.

As aVehicle Technicianyou would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, completing wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Middlewich

Pay / salary: £30,000 to £34,000

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 - 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.
