A large facilities management organisation based in the UK is seeking an experienced Mobile Water Treatment Technician. This role involves executing water treatment services, performing inspections and cleans, as well as dosing and testing. Candidates must hold a Level 2 qualification and have a valid driving licence. Qualifications

  • Up to date knowledge of technical regulations including Water Supply Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274.
  • Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Execute self-delivery of all Water Treatment services across the South and Southeast of the UK.
  • Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems.
  • Ensure all site L8 logbooks are accurate and up to date.
  • Complete work reports in a timely manner.

Job description

Mobile Water Treatment Technician is needed for a large facilities management organisation based on a mobile basis in and around Woking / Hampshire who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mobile Water Treatment Technician that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections and Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean and Disinfections, TMV Servicing, Water Sampling. In addition to the above you will also have experience in dosing of Inhibitor and Biocide, LTHW Systems & Testing and Analysis.

The successful candidate must have a City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent qualification (Level 2). If you have prior experience with a mobile role that would be a plus!

What the role entails:
  • Representing the Water Compliance as a Water Treatment Technician to execute the self-delivery of all Water Treatment services across the South and Southeast of the UK
  • As a Tier 1 Water Treatment Technician - You will encompass Tier 1 (Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections and Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean and Disinfections, TMV Servicing, Water Sampling)
  • Tier 2 - in addition to Tier 1, Dosing of Inhibitor and Biocide, LTHW Systems Testing and Analysis
  • Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems
  • Ensure all site L8 logbooks were acting as the Primary Technician are in date and accurate
  • Complete work reports either via a day works sheet or plan on in a timely manner
What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Water Technician:
  • City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent qualification relevant to the appropriate Tier grading under job specific
  • Up to date knowledge of technical regulations including Water Supply Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and any other relevant guidance
  • Fault diagnosis and resolution
  • Valid driving licence
