RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division. You will service and repair vehicles on pre‑booked schedules, using mobile diagnostics and tools, and you’ll build trust with customers on their driveways and workplaces.

The role emphasizes planned work, independence and progression in a growing service. A full UK driving licence is required, with overtime and bonus opportunities and structured career development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in vehicle maintenance
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In‑depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
