Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician for the SMR Division in the Central Birmingham cluster. Work is pre‑booked with a clear digital schedule, focusing on planned maintenance and diagnostics using mobile equipment across local areas.

You’ll perform routine servicing, in‑depth repairs, and safety checks, with a fully equipped RAC van and overtime options. A UK driving licence and relevant qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
