Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division in the UK. You will carry out planned maintenance, diagnostics, and in-depth repairs on-site at members' premises with a fully equipped RAC van and full support.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic or NVQ Level 2 plus experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing of vehicles.
• Diagnostics using mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs that would be done in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations after inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
