Job summary

RAC Motoring Services in the Oxford area seeks Mobile Mechanics/Vehicle Technicians to deliver planned, on‑driveway servicing and repairs. You will perform diagnostics, routine servicing, and in‑depth repairs with modern mobile equipment, while advising members on maintenance and safety based on inspections.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you would normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
