Job summary

RAC SMR division seeks a skilled Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to perform pre-booked servicing, diagnostics with mobile equipment, and in-depth repairs at members' driveways or car parks. You’ll advise members and ensure RAC safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
