Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division in the UK. You’ll work on a planned schedule, servicing and repairing vehicles with a fully equipped RAC van, diagnostics tools and digital scheduling. You’ll enjoy structured development, overtime options and a clear pathway to expanded skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in vehicle maintenance is required.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than six points is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing of vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics using mobile equipment.
• Carry out in-depth repairs not typically done on the roadside.
• Advise members and provide recommendations based on inspections.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
