Job summary

RAC in Northampton is seeking Mobile Mechanics for the Service, Maintenance & Repair division. You will service and inspect vehicles, perform diagnostics with mobile equipment, and complete in-depth repairs at customers' driveways or car parks.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
• Deliver planned work with clear schedules and pre-booked appointments.

Education
