The RAC is hiring Mobile Mechanics in the Northampton area. You’ll service and diagnose vehicles, perform workshop-grade repairs on clients’ driveways or car parks, and offer expert advice to members. The role focuses on planned work with structured schedules rather than reactive callouts.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
