Job summary

RAC Mobile Mechanics in the Northampton cluster are responsible for planned, pre-booked servicing and repairs at customers' driveways or sites. You will use advanced diagnostics and a fully equipped RAC van to deliver high-quality work.

Daily work includes routine servicing, diagnostics, in-depth repairs, and providing member advice while maintaining RAC standards. The role offers a 40-hour week, overtime opportunities, and structured development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• At RAC, technicians can develop through a structured pathway toward recognised accreditation.
