Job summary

The RAC SMR division is looking for a skilled Mobile Mechanic to join our team. You'll visit members’ driveways and workplaces, carrying out planned servicing, diagnostics, and in-depth repairs with a fully equipped RAC van and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
