Job summary

RAC is expanding its Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division, delivering planned servicing and repairs directly to members, from driveways to workplaces. You will work from a fully equipped RAC van with diagnostics, tools and support to carry out servicing, diagnostics and in-depth repairs, while advising members on recommendations based on inspection.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK Driving Licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
