Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is seeking Mobile Mechanics to join the SMR division. You’ll service, diagnose and repair vehicles on customer driveways and car parks, following pre-booked schedules and RAC standards to ensure quality workmanship.

You’ll work with a fully equipped RAC van and ongoing development on the job. The role offers a base salary of £40,170 with on-target earnings up to £52,000 through overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
