Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division. You will perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and in‑depth repairs on customer vehicles, in a scheduled, non-emergency setting.

A full UK driving licence and 2+ years of experience are required, with a base salary of £40,170 and potential earnings up to £52,000. Expect a 40‑hour week, Monday–Saturday availability, and clear overtime opportunities designed to boost earnings while delivering high‑quality service to RAC

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic accepted.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing of vehicles.
• Diagnostics using mobile equipment.
• In‑depth repairs typically done in a workshop.
