Job summary

The RAC is pioneering a mobile servicing model in its SMR division, delivering planned maintenance and repairs directly to members’ driveways or car parks across the Liverpool cluster.

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician you’ll follow a pre-booked schedule, perform diagnostics, routine servicing and in-depth repairs, and provide clear member guidance with RAC standards. A full UK licence and NVQ2 in light vehicle maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs that would normally be done in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
